REDI maintains a collection of unique qualifications and experience that have helped it succeed for decades within affordable housing development. They include more than 7,500 building site analyses, financing and development work on more than 1,000 units of housing and mixed-use combinations.

Harvey Edelstein


Harvey Edelstein received his Masters of Architecture degree from the Yale School of Architecture in 1973 and has spent his entire professional life designing, building, analyzing, restoring, and remodeling buildings. He has more than 40 years of experience developing affordable and public housing through non-profit and for-profit companies and has worked extensively with the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, the Department of Economic and Community Housing Investment Fund, the Federal Home Loan Bank, and other housing finance organizations. His specialties are architectural project oversight, construction management, and owner representation.

Maureen Corley

Senior Director of Operations

Maureen is the Senior Director of Operations for REDI. Her specialties are financial project oversight, budget implementation and accounting compliance. Maureen has worked in the field of real estate lending, accounting, and administration for over twenty years. She previously held positions at the Connecticut Housing Investment Fund and Constitution Mortgage Bankers, and has worked extensively with the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, the State of CT Department of Housing, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and other housing finance organizations. Maureen Corley received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Quinnipiac University.

Nicholas Kirby

Senior Development and Finance Associate

Nicholas is responsible for overseeing and facilitating Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funding projects and coordinating Development Team decisions. His responsibilities include financial modeling of both operating and development pro forma, budgeting of construction, coordinating with investor Asset Managers for capital contributions and construction benchmarking, grant and funding application writing to raise investment capital for new projects, coordinating with investor and financiers’ underwriters, assisting with negotiations of limited partnership documents, analyzing cash flows of operating multifamily rental properties, coordination and facilitation of project management of construction Development Team members including engineers, architects, general contractors, building officials and others. Prior to joining REDI, Nick worked in Client Support and Services within the mutual fund industry at Evergreen Investments. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Western New England University and a Masters of Science in International Business and Emerging Markets from the University of Edinburgh.
